Frequently Asked Questions
How much will the project cost, and how long will it take?
Current projections indicate $3.1 million. Construction is expected to begin within one year and be completed within two years, aligning with the conclusion of the campaign.
When do the campaign pledges begin and end?
The campaign is a 24-month commitment beginning August 16, 2026 and ending September 24, 2028. The first offering will be at the Public Commitment Event on September 6, 2026.
Can I revise my commitment later?
Yes. You may revise your commitment, up or down, at any time during the 24-month period by contacting the church office at (770) 945-6131.
What will happen with the YEZ! Building and parking?
The YEZ! Building will be demolished to make room for the new building. For parking, we're installing paved parking on the rear lot, launching a Shuttle Ministry, and continuing to use nearby business lots and public parking with routine shuttle pick-ups.
I'm new to Poplar Hill — can I still take part?
Yes! We're asking everyone who is part of PHBC to prayerfully consider getting involved. Fill out a commitment card and place it in the offering box, or contact the church office at (770) 945-6131.
